You have probably heard the proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child."
In this period of budget cuts and layoffs, this has never been more true. The dedicated families and neighbors of Magnolia Elementary School students have earned a reputation for coming together to enhance the educational experience of nearly 600 students with extracurricular activities and special events. These extraordinary individuals recognize that education only begins in the classroom, and that learning is a process that must be kept alive and nurtured at home and in the community. Community volunteers include teachers, administrators, families of students, and senior students from throughout the surrounding area.
